Summary: This program reads most of parameters from the database (DB) get_param( "A", X ) reads parameter A into variable X if "A" is not in the database, it will generate an error message and stop sync_param( "B", Y ) reads parameter B into variable Y if "B" is not in the database, then Y is unchanged and its value is saved in the database as "B" (here sync = synchronize)
