MODULES
- CDL_MOD
- IO_SPLITTER
- io_splitter provides functions for I/O of a rank N>2 array
as a collection of rank N-1 arrays having distinct netcdf names.
- PARALLELIO_MOD
- Convenience wrapper around pario_nc.f
Allows the same function call to be used to define, write or read
a NetCDF variable. This saves programming effort and eliminates
problems of consistency between subroutines that define, write or
read a set of arrays.
- PARIO
- These subroutines are used to read/write arrays (distributed and
local) to NetCDF files.
Simple usage example (to write); the same calls should be made from
all MPI nodes:
fid = par_open(grid,fname,'create')
call defvar(grid,fid,mdwnimp,'mdwnimp(dist_im,dist_jm)')
call write_dist_data(grid,fid,'mdwnimp',mdwnimp)
call par_close(grid, fid)
See also Parallelio.F90 for "combined" define/write/read subroutines.
This allows, in many cases, a SINGLE subroutine to be used to read,
write and define the contents of a NetCDF file.
